Google Ads Manager for Google Ad Grants
Arcucom is looking for a Google Ads Manager to manage and optimise Google Ad Grants campaigns for nonprofit organisations. You will work directly on client accounts, building campaigns, analysing performance, improving targeting and ad quality, and continuously optimising campaigns to help nonprofits maximise the value of their Google Ad Grant.

About the Role
As a Google Ads Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimisation of Google Ad Grants accounts for Arcucom's nonprofit clients.
You will work across multiple nonprofit organisations and help them use Google Search advertising to achieve meaningful outcomes such as increasing awareness, reaching relevant audiences, generating website traffic, attracting volunteers and donors, promoting programmes, and driving other important conversions.
This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working inside Google Ads, analysing campaign data, identifying problems, testing solutions, and taking ownership of campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities
Google Ad Grants Management
Set up and manage Google Ad Grants accounts and campaigns.
Build and structure Search campaigns around nonprofit goals and relevant search intent.
Conduct keyword research and identify new opportunities.
Write and optimise search ad copy.
Manage keyword targeting, match types, negative keywords and search terms.
Review campaign performance regularly and identify areas for improvement.
Optimise bids, budgets, targeting and campaign structure.
Identify underperforming campaigns and take corrective action.
Continuously test new keywords, ads, campaigns and targeting approaches.
Performance & Conversion Optimisation
Monitor important metrics such as impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, conversion rate and cost per conversion.
Analyse search terms and user behaviour to identify opportunities.
Work with landing pages and website content to improve campaign performance.
Ensure appropriate conversion tracking is configured and working correctly.
Connect campaign activity with meaningful nonprofit outcomes rather than focusing only on traffic and clicks.
Google Ad Grants Compliance
Understand and follow Google Ad Grants requirements and policies.
Monitor accounts for potential compliance issues.
Maintain account health and take action when campaigns or accounts fall below required standards.
Stay updated on relevant changes to Google Ads and Google Ad Grants policies.
Client Management & Reporting
Prepare regular performance reports for client accounts.
Translate campaign data into clear insights and recommendations.
Communicate campaign performance and priorities with the internal team.
Maintain clear documentation of campaign changes, tests and results.
Work across multiple client accounts while maintaining attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For
Required
2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Ads, preferably Search campaigns.
Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent and campaign structure.
Experience analysing Google Ads performance data.
Understanding of conversion tracking and Google Analytics.
Ability to diagnose why a campaign is underperforming and determine what needs to change.
Strong understanding of search advertising fundamentals.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to independently manage multiple accounts and priorities.
Good to Have
Previous experience managing Google Ad Grants accounts.
Google Ads certification.
Experience working with nonprofit organisations.
Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio.
Experience with landing-page or CRO optimisation.
Basic understanding of SEO and how organic search and paid search can work together.

Experience
2+ years of Google Ads experience
Experience with Google Ad Grants is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate. Strong Google Search Ads experience and the ability to learn the Google Ad Grants environment quickly will be considered.
